what siblings do for fun in our house

I adore that Judah and Isabelle have their own little sibling thing going on. Something that I, as a mother, cannot touch. Here are a few shots of their "sibling time" caught on camera. 

They read sweetly together(sometimes-other times she loves to knock him over and climb on top).....no I did not pose this picture. Judah was sitting there happily when Isabelle grabbed a book and told him she was going to read to him. 

The pulling around in the bucket was also her idea. "Doody in der!" she commanded to her daddy. And then she pulled him all around-and since he was happy to do it, we let them. (and yes, that is a pad on her forehead...I told you-she loves the style!)

rethinking the fashion thing

So Isabelle emerged today with this pasted to her forehead.......yes.....it is a pad. Yes, the pad is on her forehead.  Yes, we are reconsidering her paving the way with fashion......please, please, please let this not be the next big thing-I hate pads as it is-imagine wearing one on your head!

she will set a new standard for fashion....believe me!

Start the New Year right!

I certainly did.....I baked this beauty for lunch....with some cheese, flame broiled tomatoes with salt/pepper and olive oil. Oh 2010 I love you already!!



High Point: dinner tonight was late enough that both kids were down and nate and I just talked and ate:) lovely!!
Low Point: When I stuck my tongue out at my daughter because she frustrated me really badly....yeah...she is 2...I on the other hand am 27-awesome! nope....it really was a low point!
